The purpose of the Study Tour is to see (and experience) first hand issues involving improved accommodation of cyclists in street design. It will include: bicycle lanes, tight cross sections, special turning issues, “bike boxes”, traffic calming, road diets, contra-flow lanes, blue pavement markings, European-style “cycle tracks”, connectivity issues to DCR facilities.
